Opinion Library

Message Factors launched Opinion Library in late 2009 with the goal of providing our clients with low-cost, on-demand access to general consumer opinions on a variety of topics. 

 

How Does It Work?

We regularly submit questions to a nationally represented panel of consumers.  We receive over 1,000 open-ended responses to each question, geographically and demographically balanced to be representative of the US as a whole. 

If you see an Opinion Library topic that interests you, simply call us at 800-300-2516 to order.  You will receive a data file in Excel with over 1,000 open-ended responses to the question you select.  Each data file costs $250.

How Can I Use OPINION LIBRARY?

Opinion Library data has many potential applications.

For researchers:

  • Exploratory research in advance of a major quantitative or qualitative research study, to ensure that all major issues are being tested
  • Quick answers to basic questions (code your own quantitative data!)

For end users:

  • New product development ideas
  • Branding initiatives and language

For advertising agencies and marketing consultancies:

  • Demonstrating initial familiarity with an industry
  • Adding substance and direction to a proposal
